Coach Pinto developed a love for cycling while training for a cross-country bike trip. In 1998, Pinto traversed North America on the bike, riding from Connecticut to British Columbia, covering 4,300 miles in less than two months. Since then, Pinto has ridden and raced road, cyclocross, and mountain bikes. He has a passion for all things two-wheels and is committed to introducing young people to the great sport of mountain biking. He adopts the motto, "more kids on bikes." He has been an active member of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association and also assists the Camden County Composite team, for which his daughter races. Mountain biking is a family enterprise and the Pintos take every opportunity to "shred" mountain bike trails, far and wide. Pinto loves that he gets to coach the Prep team with his wife Courtney, and this year they welcome their son Isaiah'25 to the Prep and team.
