Coaches

Coach Fife began his rowing career at the Prep in 1995 and has been coaching rowing for 20 years. He is now in his third year as head coach at the Prep, he spent seven seasons at the helm of Jesuit Dallas, where he developed a small regional program into a national power. Coach Fife has also coached at the collegiate level including at his alma mater the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University and Saint Joseph's University. In his three years back at the Prep, Fife has won the Stotesbury Cup, a lightweight national championship, two lightweight Stotesbury golds, and two City Championships. In 2019, Fife led the Prep to the quarter-finals of the Henley Royal Regatta in England. Fife has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
