Appalachia Service Project, Johnson City, TN

Appalachia Service Project is an service organization focused on creating living spaces in Appalachia that are warmer, safer, and drier for families while providing transformational service experiences for their volunteers. During our Spring Break, a group of students will head down to one of their Centers in Johnson City, TN to participate in their home building/repair projects. This is one of the more physically demanding service projects. Students will be doing construction on homes under skilled supervision for families who cannot afford to maintain their roofs, walls, etc. This trip is primarily open to seniors but juniors may also apply. www.asphome.org
