What Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Means at the Prep

We intentionally cultivate a brotherhood that reflects the richness of the human experience; across race, culture, faith, socioeconomic background, identity, and perspective. This diversity is not separate from our mission; it is essential to it. In our classrooms, programs, and community life, students are challenged to encounter difference with curiosity, humility, and respect. We prepare students not only for academic success, but for meaningful lives in a diverse and interconnected world.

At the Prep, this means:
  • Recognizing and honoring the dignity of every person
  • Learning from a wide range of cultures, identities, and perspectives
  • Building the skills to engage in respectful dialogue across difference
  • Growing in awareness, empathy, and moral courage
Guided by Jesuit values such as cura personalis (care for the whole person) and the pursuit of the magis (the greater good), and informed by key frameworks including: Catholic Social Teaching, Domain 5 of Our Way of Proceeding, and an Ignatian approach to DEIB, our students are challenged to become thoughtful leaders committed to justice, equity, and service.
