Martha's Choice Marketplace and Community Farm, Montgomery County, PA

Martha’s Choice, a work of Catholic Social Services and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, is the largest, most visited food pantry in Montgomery County, serving more than 1,000 families and 3,500 individuals each month, while distributing over 1 million pounds of food yearly. The farm provides vegetables, flowers, and herbs to families accessing Martha’s Choice Marketplace and other local pantries.

Volunteers are in high need to help the farm prepare for their growing season and community event on May 14. Volunteers are needed on April 30 and May 14. Anyone over the age of 18 can volunteer on their own, however, students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  Any student who volunteers on both days will receive a bonus of two service hours for every eight hours served. Please contact Ms. Katie Longto with any questions and sign up here.
