Prep Baseball announces the 2025 season's staff, which includes seven alumni
Prep Baseball head coach Bobby Muth '04 recently announced his staff for the 2025 season:
- Michael Cavallaro '97 Varsity Pitching Coach During his time at the Prep, Mike excelled as a First Team All-Catholic shortstop who led the Prep to two straight Southern Division titles. He then went on to play at LaSalle University in the A10 where he received Player of the Week honors and is amongst the program's top 10 for all-time complete games.
- Jawan McAllister '14 Varsity Hitting Coach Jawan was a three-time All-Catholic, All-City, and Atlantic Region Honorable Mention outfielder while at the Prep. He played his college ball as a top recruit at the University of Pittsburgh and later at Longwood University. He was most recently coaching for his local Little League and travel teams for the inner city Philadelphia Anderson Monarchs.
- Sean Connolly '12 Varsity First Base Coach Sean was a four-year member of the baseball program and a returning member of the coaching staff. Sean played for Coach Muth and has been a valued piece of the Prep program since the 2016-2017 season. His baseball IQ and ability to relate to the players have made him an irreplaceable coach.
- Greg “Buddy” Brooks '10 Head Junior Varsity Coach Greg also played for Coach Muth and was a four-year starter as a star third baseman at the Prep. He was recruited as a utility infielder at Gwynedd Mercy University and has NCAA coaching experience at GMU in a lead assistant role.
- Brandon Sanders '18 Head Freshman Coach Brandon was one of the most decorated all-around athletes during his time at the Prep, earning First Team All-Catholic honors as well as being a coveted star for Prep Football. He went on to play both at Bucknell University before turning his focus towards football and transferring to play Big Ten football at Rutgers University. Brandon is back on staff as a wide receivers coach for the Prep and is responsible for all strength and conditioning workouts for Prep Baseball during this offseason.
- Jack Clinton '18 Assistant Freshman Coach Jack was a four-year member of the Prep baseball program. He led the freshman team last year, which won 12 straight games to close out the season. Jack is an Emmaus Teaching Fellow at the Prep and is a key resource for the school serving in both the Admissions Office and the English department.
The Prep Baseball staff also includes:
- James Stinsman Varsity Bench Coach Jimmy has been in the coaching circuit with the Prep since 2017 helping out in multiple capacities. He was a member of the Temple Club Baseball team while he attended undergraduate school, and currently works as the Operations Coordinator for the Prep Athletic Department. He’s known everywhere around the league and is a vital component of this organization.
- Abdur Mujahid Assistant Junior Varsity Coach Abdur was a 2017 ranked PA state prospect who attended Bethune Cookman. He later finished his degree at Manor College as a primary middle infielder and also holds an expansive background as a catcher. His playing experience, chemistry with young players, and ability to develop focal areas make him an exceptional fit for the Prep program.
