  • What is the HSPT?

The High School Placement Test (commonly referred to as "the HSPT") is used by many local private schools as the entrance exam that is part of the overall application process. To learn more about the Prep's application process, please click here.
  • What happens at the Test Prep Program?

During the 1st week and 7th week, the instructors will give Practice Assessments to gauge student growth and identify areas for improvement.  At all other sessions, students will have 3 workshops that focus on HSPT Math content, HSPT English content, and overall Test Prep skills.
  • What happens if I have to miss a week (or two)?

No problem! While we can't prorate the program, the Director of the Test Prep Program will work with you on anything missed. In addition pre-recorded lessons of all sessions will be available to every student in the Test Prep Program in case of an absence, to be used to review key concepts after each session, or both!
  • Will it really help me with the Prep's entrance exam and admissions process?

Can we promise you a certain score? Of course not, but we can promise you that taking this class will make you an extremely strong candidate for the Prep's incoming class.
