Coaches

Coach Fife began his rowing career at the Prep in 1995 and has been coaching rowing for over 20 years. He is now in his sixth year as head coach at the Prep. Previously, he spent seven seasons at the helm of Jesuit Dallas, where he developed a small regional program into a national power. Coach Fife has also coached at the collegiate level including at his alma mater the University of Pennsylvania, Georgetown University, and Saint Joseph's University. In his six years back at the Prep, Fife has won the USRowing Youth National Championship in 2021, several Stotesbury Cup championships, a lightweight national scholastic championship, three lightweight Stotesbury golds, and four City Championships. In 2019 and 2021, Fife led the Prep to the quarter-finals of the Henley Royal Regatta in England. In 2022, Fife was named the US Men's Youth Sweep Coach of the Year.

Fife has a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from Rutgers University.
