Dan DiBerardinis, Athletic Director

It is bittersweet to be writing this note to inform you I will be leaving my post as Athletic Director effective July 1 as I have accepted a new position as the Athletic Director at Penn Charter. I will do all I can to work with the appropriate staff to ensure a smooth transition and will be eager to support the Prep in any way I can in the future.

This announcement is not something that I expected to be making as I had planned to make the Prep a long term home but the opportunity for personal and professional growth compelled me to make this decision after a lot of thought and soul searching. Please know how much I value all of you and this amazing school and it was incredibly hard to imagine leaving the Prep and the community that makes it so special.  

My time at the Prep has truly been some of the best years of my life. I have learned so much about mission, teamwork, community and faith from the school leadership, administration, staff, faculty, athletic coaching staff, students, and parents. I will truly miss seeing you on a daily basis and am filled with emotion just thinking about it.

The commitment to be men and women for and with others, and providing an elite education that impacts hearts, souls, characters, bodies, minds, and spirit has not only blessed the students but had a huge impact on my own sense of faith and service. This community has helped me grow as an Athletic Director but also, most importantly, as a man. I will carry the memories, experiences, and love with me for the rest of my life.  

While I am sad to leave, I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to another excellent school, rooted in similar values, to ensure students can reach their highest potential. I know that I would not have been as prepared for this new chapter if I had not crossed paths with all of you amazing people. Trust that I carry all of you in my heart, and I will look forward to finding new ways to stay connected to the Prep. If I can ever be a support or resource, please do not hesitate to contact me.
