Stevens-Arroyo ’58 Among 100 Most Important Latinos in PA

Religious Studies Scholar Dr. Anthony Stevens-Arroyo ’58 was included among the 2022 POWER 100 Who’s Who in Latino Pennsylvania. The group was honored during a live televised ceremony from the historic Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown on September 30. 

“When I spoke at graduation in 1958, the theme was about learning the culture of the common people in our lives of service,” he says. “Turns out that became a characteristic of my career(s). It’s nice to be recognized, but they still charge me the same for a cup of coffee at the diner.”

Stevens-Arroyo is Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at Brookyn College. This list of Latinas and Latinos represents diverse individuals making valuable contributions to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. POWER 100 Who’s Who in Latino Pennsylvania are among the state’s most accomplished men and women in virtually every industry and profession.
