Mark Bender ’75 and Marc Policarpo ’74 are looking for Prep alumni to join them on the Civil War Museum of Philadelphia board

The Civil War Museum of Philadelphia, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3), seeks Board members who are willing to join a group of diverse elite professionals which includes public servants, entrepreneurs, business executives, diplomats, lawyers, judges, historians, docents, academics, and museum professionals who enthusiastically commit their talent, time, and financial resources to actively support the CWMP’s mission, which is as follows: “Chartered in 1874, the mission of the Civil War Museum of Philadelphia is to interpret the struggle for freedom, equality, and national unity in the mid-19th century; tell the story of the Civil War from the perspectives of the individuals who shaped it; and inspire a renewed dedication to the nation's founding principles today.” The Board seeks to actively promote the use of its collections at the National Constitution Center, the Union League, and the Gettysburg Foundation as platforms by which the Civil War’s impact upon current law and culture can be explored fully and truthfully.
