New President Announcement
Today, Dr. Mark C. Reed '92, Chair of the Board of Trustees, announced the Board’s unanimous election and appointment of John F. Marinacci as the 33rd President of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School. Mr. Marinacci will begin his role on or shortly before July 1, 2021.
Mr. Marinacci currently serves as Principal at Loyola Blakefield, a Jesuit college preparatory school in Towson, MD, for grades 6 through 12, a role he has held since 2014. He has spent his career in education, serving for several years as an English teacher and coach at Fordham Preparatory School in Bronx, NY, and Boys’ Latin School in Baltimore, MD, followed by nine years as teacher, coach, and Dean of Students at St. Paul’s School in Brooklandville, MD.
