Fr. Conn, SJ ’66 Honored by Canon Law Society

Rev. James Conn, SJ ’66 was honored by the Canon Law Society of America with its annual Role of Law Award for distinction in canonical scholarship, pastoral life, and service to the Church. Fr. Conn is the superior of Casa Santa Maria, which is part of the Pontifical North American College in Rome and serves English-speaking priests who are sent from their Diocese for graduate-level studies in Rome. He is also a consultor of the Congregation for the Clergy.

In his acceptance remarks, Fr. Conn credited the Latin he learned at the Prep and called Rev. Francis X. Moan, SJ the “best teacher I have ever had.”
