Head Coaches Selected for 2021 All-American Bowl

The All-American Bowl today announced the head coaches for the 2021 All-American Bowl. Coach Tim Roken of St. Joseph’s Preparatory School (Philadelphia, PA) and Coach  David White of Blue Springs High School (Blue Springs, MO) have been selected to coach the East and West squads, respectively.

Coach Roken is currently the head coach of nationally ranked St. Joseph’s Preparatory and will lead the East team inside the Alamodome. He helped lead the Hawks to a PIAA state championship in 2019 during his first season as head coach. Prior to being named the head coach he served as the offensive coordinator for St. Joseph teams that won four state championship titles. Roken served as the offensive coordinator during the 2015 All-American Bowl.

“The All-American Bowl has established a great tradition that I have been blessed to be a part of in different roles in the past,” said Roken. “I am honored to now be selected to represent our school and community as the Head Coach in this great game.”

Coach White is currently entering his first season as the head coach of Blue Springs High School and will coach the West team in this year’s All-American Bowl. He coached five All-Americans and 38 collegiate players during his tenure as the head coach of Bishop Gorman High School. Coach White spent seven seasons at the University of Nevada, serving as the running backs coach. He also served as an assistant coach during the 2020 All-American Bowl.

“It is a tremendous honor to be a part of this prestigious game,” said White. “I’m grateful and excited to coach with other coaches across the country in the nation’s top high school All-American Bowl.”

Coach Roken and Coach White will lead their teams consisting of the best 100 high school football players from across the country in January inside the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
