Monitoring Coronavirus (COVID-19)

We will utilize this page to continually post updates from the school surrounding any academic updates, school closures, event cancellations or other instructions as we navigate the coronavirus situation through Spring Break (week of March 16) and beyond.

Latest Update:
  • In accordance with Governor Tom Wolf's order that all Pennsylvania schools should remain closed for the remainder of this academic year, distance learning (click here to see the schedule) is in effect throughout the remainder of the school year. The building remains locked down and all activities are postponed or cancelled. 
  • More information on specific events will be communicated to our community as they are available.
Action Items for Students, Parents and Staff:
  • All Prep students/parents and faculty/staff members must complete our Spring Break Travel Form
  • Any member of Prep community who believes they may have been exposed to, or have contracted, COVID-19 should contact their primary care physician. In addition, please contact the Prep so that we are aware. Colleagues should notify Mr. Joseph Dougherty, Senior Director of Human Resources, at jdougherty@sjprep.org. If a student needs to report, we ask his parents to notify Principal Mr. Andy Cavacos at acavacos@sjprep.org.
