Model Organization of American States (MOAS)
Students involved in MOAS have a unique opportunity to experience political diplomacy in action. Each year the Prep represents a different country in the western hemisphere. Participants will spend time researching the current political, environmental and economic priorities of that country as well as it's history and culture. After preparing and drafting resolutions, students participate in the MOAS General Assembly at the OAS Headquarters in Washington each December. There they will meet with other student delegations from around the world to debate and discuss issues of hemispheric security and prosperity.
