Operation Santa Claus
Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is a program in which the Prep community donates, wraps, and delivers toys to families in need throughout the Philadelphia area. We have been participating in this program for a number of years and have delivered tens of thousands of toys to needy children.
Previously, we worked in collaboration with the Archdioceses to run this program. Unfortunately, the office running the program in the Archdioceses has closed. However, the Prep has elected to continue Operation Santa Claus independently.
To support this program, we ask that each family donate a minimum of $25. The money will be collected in homerooms from November 27 to December 8, or you can donate online.

OSC Shopping & Wrapping (December 3, 2017)
Prep students will gather at the prep at 8am and depart for a local Toys ‘R Us to purchase the presents for the Prep’s Operation Santa Claus. The students then return to the Prep for 12:30pm Mass and then wrap the presents with adults in the Prep community around 1:15pm. Wrapping should finish by 4pm.

OSC Christmas Party (December 9, 2017)
For the fifth year in a row, our OSC Christmas Party will be offered in conjunction with our Operation Santa Claus initiative. We will invite the families in need to the Prep for a Christmas Party on Saturday, December 9, 2017 for food, fun, and Christmas spirit. Pictures with Santa and gifts will be provided underneath the Christmas tree for a great start to the Christmas season.
