SWIMMING TAKES ON LASALLE
The Prep swim team will host LaSalle on Thursday, February 15 at 3:45pm, in a battle of Catholic League unbeaten teams. La Salle has won the league swimming title every season since 1989 and not lost a league meet since that year. The last team to beat La Salle was The Prep in 1988, clinching the league title in a head-to-head meet. Since then, LaSalle has won 151 regular season meets in the PCL has also dominated the season-ending championships.
The Catholic League title is determined at a two-day meet March 3 and 4 at LaSalle University. All teams in the league participate with points given to the top 18 finishers in each event. These points are added to points awarded to teams based on their win-loss record for regular season dual (or head-to-head) meets.
