Operation Santa Claus

Operation Santa Claus (OSC) is a program in which the Prep community joins the whole Archdiocese of Philadelphia in donating, wrapping, and delivering toys to families in need throughout the Philadelphia area. We have been participating in this program for a number of years and have delivered tens of thousands of toys to needy children. To support this program, we ask that each family donate $25. We collaborate with other groups from around the Delaware Valley in order to bring toys to children who may receive no gifts at Christmas. The money will be collected in home rooms from November 29 to December 10.

OSC Shopping (December 11, 2011)

Prep students will gather at the prep at 8:00 AM and depart for a local Toys ‘R Us to purchase the presents for the drive. Students should return to the Prep by approximately 1:00pm. Any student interested should sign up in the blue book in the main office by Friday December 9, 2011.

OSC Wrapping (December 14, 2011)

Prep students will gather at the Prep at the start of 8th period and will depart for the Archdiocesan Wrapping Center to wrap all purchased toys for the drive. They will return to the Prep in time for the 5:20pm buses. Any student interested should sign up in the blue book in the main office by Monday, December 12, 2011. Students are asked to bring some wrapping paper with them on this day.

OSC (December 24, 2011)

If you are a student or family that would like to deliver toys on Christmas Eve, please download and complete the team registration form and hand in to Mr. Deitch or Mr. Rosenberger by November 11, 2011.
