Where: Malvern Family Conference Center in Malevern, PA. (St. Joseph's in the Hills)
When: From 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, of the retreat week to 8 P.M. on Friday.
Fee: $125.00 per retreatant. This fee will be billed through the Treasurer's Office.
Other Important Information:
- All retreatants must use the bus provided for transportation to and from the retreat. This bus departs at
3:30 p.m.on Friday from the 17th St. school exit.
- Participants should not bring any books to read or other school work. Since, however, you will be
missing three days of school you should make a special effort to be up to date on school work before
you leave.
- Do NOT bring radios, record players, Walkmen, cards or CELL PHONES. Musical instruments such as
guitars, etc. are allowed. Bring a small amount of money for incidentals. Bring a supply of snacks and
we ask each retreatant to bring one six-pack of soft drink or juice.
- You cannot use the telephone during the days of the retreat. Don't plan to call anyone and don't ask
anyone to call you, unless your parents have to contact you for emergency reasons. The number they
should use is: (610) 644-0400.
- Malvern Family Conference Center DOES supply TOWELS, soap, bed linens, blankets and pillows.
Therefore, DO NOT bring a sleeping bag.
- They DO NOT supply toothpaste, shampoo or other personal items.
- Pack very informally but please keep baggage down to a minimum.
- Malvern supplies three meals; however, you may want to bring additional snacks and drinks.
- Please put your name on your baggage, including bags of snacks and drinks, since you and your luggage
will travel in separate vehicles. Place your bags in the truck in the front parking lot in the morning!
- St. Joseph's Prep's policy on drugs, beer, hard liquor, etc. will be in full force. If you have any of
these items, please do not bring them because any trouble in this area will be dealt with severely.
