Breaking the Waves Swim-A-Thon 2008
The Prep hosted its Breaking the Waves Swim-A-Thon on Sunday, January 20, 2008. The overnight swim-a-thon which ran from 9:30pm to 6:00am is designed to raise awareness of mental health issues, specifically adolescent depression and suicide. A representative from KidsPeace, a national organization that treats, counsels and educates children suffering with depression, addressed the participants. |
