Jim Glavin '65

Jim Glavin '65 is the SJP Head Crew Coach. As a rower, Jim is a Dad Vail and National Rowing Champion and he has coached at every level of US Rowing since 1972. Jim was Vesper Boat Club's Youth and Head coach. Jim also coached the USA Boy's Junior Team, the US Elite men's and women's boats, St. Joseph's University, Baldwin School, Harriton High School, and most recently Mount Saint Joseph's Academy where his freshman eight won 3 consecutive national championships, including an undefeated season in 2005. The boats Jim has coached have won the Dad Vail, the US National Junior, Senior and Elite Championships, Senior Canadian Henley Championships, the Head of the Charles point trophy, the Dad Vail point trophy and US National championships.
