What?…
The Pre-8th Grade Program is a five-week summer program
designed for students who have completed seventh grade. It
includes computer education, creative writing, and algebra, and
it is complemented by a program of sports including basketball,
soccer, swimming, ping-pong, volleyball, and wiffle ball.
Where?…
The program takes place at St. Joseph's Preparatory School located
at 18th Street and Girard Avenue in North-Central Philadelphia.
Students are bused from Philadelphia and its surrounding counties.
The instructors are Prep faculty and the building is air-conditioned.
When?…
Monday through Friday, June 28 to July 28, 8:45am to 1:00pm.
Parent-Teacher Conferences – Thursday, July 29
Who?…
Boys and girls who have completed seventh grade are eligible.
The maximum number of participants is 500.
How?…
Please complete the application and forward it along with
a $150.00 deposit to reserve a place. Deposits are non-refundable
after March 1, 2010 and the balance is due prior to the start of the program. Places
fill quickly. Forward application as soon as possible.
