General Driving Directions
From Western Suburbs
- Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) East to the Girard Avenue Exit.
- Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Girard Avenue.
- Continue straight on Girard until you reach the wall of Girard College.
- Turn right onto College Avenue.
- Turn left at the first light onto Poplar Avenue.
- Bear left and continue to follow the trolley tracks.
- Turn left onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.
From Eastern Montgomery County
- Take the Blue Route (I-476) to the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76).
- Follow the directions "From Western Suburbs."
From City Line Avenue (US-1)
- Take City Line Avenue (US-1) to Belmont Avenue.
- Turn south / east onto Belmont Avenue.
- Turn left onto South Concourse Drive.
- After crossing under the train tracks turn left onto Girard Avenue.
- Continue straight on Girard until you reach the wall of Girard College.
- Turn right onto College Avenue.
- Turn left at the first light onto Poplar Avenue.
- Bear left and continue to follow the trolley tracks.
- Turn left onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.
From Roxborough / Chestnut Hill
- Take Kelly Drive south to Fairmount Avenue.
- Turn left onto Fairmount Avenue.
- Just after Eastern State Penitentiary turn left onto Corinthian Avenue.
- Turn right onto Girard Avenue.
- Turn left onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.
From Bucks County
- Take I-95 South to the exit for Girard Avenue.
- At the bottom of the ramp merge onto Girard Avenue.
- Continue on Girard, passing over Broad Street.
- Turn right onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.

- Take the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philadelphia.
- At the bottom of the bridge make your first sharp right onto 5th Street.
- Continue until Girard Avenue and turn left.
- Turn right onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.
From Northeast Philadelphia
- Take Roosevelt Boulevard (US-1) towards Broad Street (PA-611).
- Turn south onto Broad Street.
- Turn right onto Girard Avenue.
- Turn right onto 18th Street.
- Visitor parking is available in the Plaza Lot in front of the Gesu Church on the right side of the street.
